Wagbrag's Core Beliefs

Has your life been changed, inspired or otherwise touched by an animal companion? The founders of WagBrag.com have long known that pets enrich our lives in countless ways. They teach us compassion, responsibility, humility and the true meaning of friendship.  WagBrag was designed to help enrich the lives of pets. We provide timely and relevant news about pet health, wellness, training and rescue – WagBrag is the online destination for people who are passionate about their pets.

WagBrag has certain core beliefs that carry through everything we do:

We believe in a balanced, holistic approach to animal wellness.  We have witnessed many occasions where alternative approaches, such as acupuncture and customized diets, have complemented traditional medical treatments to solve pet health issues.  The concept of “health” extends beyond the medical, also encompassing the emotional and spiritual aspects of animal’s lives.

We, as humans, have a responsibility to help the millions of orphaned pets in the US.  Four million cats and dogs—about one every eight seconds—are put down in U.S. shelters each year.  Whether through adopting an animal, being a responsible pet guardian (e.g. spay/neutering our animals) or supporting policies and laws that protect our animals, let’s take action to make the world a better place for animals.

Animal training should be fun and pain-free for all involved, both animals and humans.  All training methods we promote are exclusively positive and humane.  We do not advocate submission training methods (for example, pack mentality theories).

We believe in giving back.  Wagbrag shares it’s profits and donates a portion of our revenues back to non-profit animal welfare organizations. Check out our VSP Program for Animal Rescue Organizations.
