Rescue Me Ga, a non-profit dog rescue organization in Georgia, has a super sweet rescue dog that is needing a home. One of their dedicated volunteers, Kara Vonderkall, contacted WagBrag and asked if we would share her story.  Emmie is a kind hearted dog that is learning to trust people. If you have a laid-back, calm lifestyle and looking for a companion dog to match, then Emmie might be the dog for you.

Here is what Kara had to say about Emmie…..

Shy But Sweet

Emmie is a sweet 3-5 year old dog. She’s very shy and and gets scared if someone approaches her quickly, but she’s much more confident if you let her come to you. She’s very gentle and sweet with kids and other dogs. She loves soft blankets and loves to snuggle on the couch…and loves to be close and touching someone. She’s not had much interest in toys, but lately has enjoyed sleeping with a stuffed duck. She also likes to run in the backyard and chase the other dogs who chase the balls. Emmie would do best with a family who can be patient with her. She would be fine with other dogs, but also fine without. She would prefer a calm household that’s not super noisy.

Emmie’s overall health is good – she is current on shots and spayed.
