Adding a rock to your pet fish or reptile’s aquarium is a great way to enhance it’s overall aesthetics. Rocks and
CLEANING TIP:
BAKE: Wrap the rock in aluminum foil and then back it in the oven at 250 degrees for about 30 minutes. This will destroy all those microorganism. Make sure you allow the rock to completely cool before placing it into the aquarium.
BOIL: For smaller rocks boiling would be the preferred method. Boiling also destroys chlorine so it’s okay to use regular tap water. Place the rock in a large pan. Bring to a boil and let it simmer for 30 mins. Remember to let the rock cool completely before placing it in the aquarium.
