When it comes to table scraps, there are some foods that are okay to give our dogs and other foods we should avoid. Some table scraps are not healthy for our pets, as they sometimes can be very high in fat and calories and provide little to no nutrimental value. They may also cause an upset tummy – diarrhea and/or excessive gas. And some can be extremely toxic and dangerous.

However, some table scraps can be healthy and give an extra nutritional boost. But you may want to limit how often you give table scraps to your dog. Some dogs end up refusing to eat their regular kibble because they enjoy your food more. Plus, you can be encouraging an undesirable behavior called begging.
