Why I Give

overstock pet adoption

Why do I give?  I wish for all animals to have a safe and caring home.  That one day, there will no longer be a “pet overpopulation” issue.  By educating the public on the importance of spaying and neutering, we bring awareness to the large number of homeless animals.  By sharing advice on effective training techniques, we help bring understanding as to why animals behave the way they do. The end result, we will see a reduction in the number of homeless animals and more people enjoying the special and unique bond with a pet of their own.

WagBrag’s co-founder, Russ Boles, has a deep history in animal rescue and welfare. For the past 12 years, Russ has served in various roles with Atlanta-based animal advocacy organizations focused on rescue, training and education. In addition, Russ led a local rescue volunteer team into New Orleans immediately after Hurricane Katrina, assisting in efforts to rescue and care for stranded animals. This experience changed his life, and animal rescue and advocacy will always be a part of everything he does.
