URGENT – A momma dog just finished giving birth at the animal control shelter in Jasper County, Ga. The shelter is desperate to get her out ASAP. “The dog is very stressed due to all of the dogs barking around her”, states the post on the Rescue Me Ga Facebook page.
She was picked up by animal control last week. Reported to have been heavily pregnant on a chain and with no food, water or shelter.
When it was apparent that she was about to give birth, she was moved to one of the bathrooms in the facility. She gave birth to a total of 9 puppies! Unfortunately, one did not survive. We’re hoping a foster home or an animal rescue group comes to their rescue.
