Ah, finally some good news!
If you have ever thought about adopting a dog, here’s an incredible reason to finally go through with it. Meet Benny, an incredibly cute but shy shelter dog who was staying at Carson Animal Care Center, a high-kill shelter in Gardena, California.
Benny had no idea what was in store for him, but in a true holiday miracle-like situation, he hit the jackpot when a nice family decided to adopt him!
If just hearing he was adopted isn’t enough to warm your heart, you have to see the video of his reaction. At first he is confused, with his head tilted, then he starts to get excited, and finally when he sees his new family, he just cannot contain himself.
And again, the funny thing is, is that the shelter called Benny a shy dog, so you can see how incredible adoption can be for any pup.
There are millions of dogs currently in animal shelters across America who are in desperate need of adoption. However, many people favor buying a dog, so they can get what they think will be the exact puppy they want. But, buying from pet stores or unreliable breeders can be dangerous for you and your new family.
We cannot stress enough the importance, and need, for more people to adopt dogs from local shelters, who more likely than not, have been vaccinated and neutered.
