New Friends

Last year in Norway, Torgeir Berge was walking his German Shepherd when an abandoned baby fox appeared from the woods and approached the dog. What happened next is amazing and heartwarming – the dog and fox became friends.   Each day since the encounter, the dog (Tinni) and fox (Sniffer) meet and play for a couple of hours.

Book To Be Released

Torgeir, a photographer, is now writing a book about this unique experience and the friendship that has developed between Sniffer and Tinni. The book will also help spread awareness about the cruel fox-fur industry and convey that dogs and foxes are not so different. The book’s co-author, Berit Helberg, stated, ” Not many people are privileged to see and enjoy a friendship like this, but Torgeir Berge has both seen them in action and gotten the opportunity to catch this in images that doesn’t need words.” See Berit Helberg’s blog

The video, which has gone viral, is beautifully done – take a minute to watch it.
